About Polyurethane
Urethane O-rings are made from mixable urethane rubber and are available in two types: polyester urethane (AU) and polyether urethane (EU). Style AU polyurethane O-rings have excellent oil, fuel and solvent resistance but may be susceptible to hydrolysis.
EU-style polyurethane O-rings are not subject to hydrolytic attack and still have fuel and oil resistance comparable to low ACN (18~22% ACN) nitrile or HNBR. Polyurethane O-rings of any type have excellent abrasion resistance, high tensile strength and high elasticity compared to any other elastomer.
We can also supply any type of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU).
Operating temperature: The operating temperature of PU is -40°C to 80°C, and the service life is shortened to 100°C.
Hardness: 60 to 93 degrees Shore A is available.
Color: black, transparent, green, orange, or any color specified by the customer.
